Insights from the CEO
To understand the goal for the website re-design and why the CEO wants to re-vamp the website, I set up a meeting to understand his end goal.
"As I am currently making iterations to the product and service offerings, I want the new website to highlight those changes. Another goal of mine is to increase our client base, try to see how you can accomplish that when redesigning the website."
- Rick Koleta, 150birds CEO

Design System Overview
Before making the changes to the website, I studied certain aspects of the design system that are important to consider when doing the website redesign.
First, I studied the color palette to determine how I should incorporate the brand colors into the website
#F349B5
#6187FF
#FFD859
#EDEFE4
#000000
#FFFFFF
After, I looked at the website to see which typography 150birds uses.

Home Page
On the home page, I added a section to highlight reviews from previous clients by adding a quote from senior client stakeholders as well as their ratings. In addition, I also created a carousel to highlight previous successful projects.
Customer Reviews
As my goal was to emphasize 150birds' positive impact with its clients to build credibility with future clients, I added a light yellow background to contrast the black text and made this section as big as the screen.
Case Studies
Similar to the customer reviews, I wanted to draw attention to the case studies so I added a bright yellow backdrop. I also placed elements about the designated on a light yellow/beige backdrop to increase the contrast. To add some interactivity in the home page, I put the case study cards into an automatic carousel.
Framework Page
In addition to the home page, I created a an infographic for the framework page to demonstrate the client journey and how the 150birds process works.
Pricing Page
To showcase the company offerings, I created a pricing page demonstrating the services and subscriptions that 150birds offers.
Subscription Plan Offerings
This graphic presents the benefits of choosing a 150birds subscription plan.
Services
This graphic presents the types of services 150birds offers.
Marketing Team Skills
I used a similar formatted graphic as the 'services' to showcase the types of skills the 150birds Marketing Freelancer Team can offer.

Engagement Metrics
In order to understand the impact of the design changes, I identified the changes in the website visits as well as the clientele.

Takeaways & Next Steps
Through designing the website, I learned about common UI elements that are prevalent in every website. For instance, successful brands commonly use blue for their call-to-action buttons as it symbolizes trust.

Due to tight deadlines, it was difficult to incorporate user testing and research to design the website. If I had more time and resources like a user experience designer, I would coordinate with them to research and create wireframes as well as prototypes prior to making the final version.
